MTCES Tuition & Fees (2022-23)
  • $5,230 Tuition
  • $150 deposit (per family) required at registration, applied to tuition upon acceptance (deposit held to remain on waiting list until accepted)
  • $50 discount for full tuition payment if made by July 15th
  • Grades 5-8: $100 technology fee for 1:1 Chromebook program (each student is assigned his/her own school-managed device)
  • Field trip fees (vary depending on outing)
  • $5.00/hr extended care fee-if applicable
  • Lunch/beverages fee-if applicable
  • Sports/extracurricular fees-if applicable (vary depending on activity)

Tuition Assistance

Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School’s (MTCES) mission is to provide academic excellence and faith formation to its students. School founding families believed that the unique and valuable MTCES experience should not be financially out of reach for any child.  For many years, Mother Teresa offered assistance to families in need through the Anthony Robert Memorial Fund. In 2005, the school recognized and responded to a need within the Mother Teresa community and established the Tuition Assistance Fund. The Advancement Office continues to seek ways to increase this assistance through the Spirit of Mother Teresa Annual Appeal and contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations.

How is financial need determined?

So that the process is completely objective, determination of a family’s qualification for assistance is made by an independent, third-party organization called FACTS Management. Applications are available online. To ensure confidentiality, MTCES asks families to submit completed applications to FACTS by April 1st.

FACTS Management provides recommendations concerning financial need to MTCES. The Principal and Finance Manager evaluate the FACTS data and present recommendations to the school Board of Trustees Executive Committee through an anonymous process. The Principal and Executive Committee approve the final  amount of assistance awarded. Families receive notification in June.

What is required of families receiving financial assistance?

Tuition assistance is available to new and current families. Current families receiving tuition assistance must be active within the school and be in good financial standing with MTCES. 

How can I support the Tuition Assistance Fund?

A gift of any amount to the Tuition Assistance Fund is an investment in the life of a child. Generous donors make it possible for MTCES to help many families in need. Please contact the Advancement Office at (513) 779-6585 to arrange a contribution. All gifts made to the fund are tax deductible and qualify for corporate matching.

This school complies with The Decree on Child Protection which is promulgated by the Archbishop of Cincinnati.
MTCES has 563 students in grades K-8 as of October 31, 2020. 
Based on the formal requirements set by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, all Mother Teresa employees as well as volunteers who have contact with children as part of their duties, are required to set up and maintain a VIRTUS account.  The VIRTUS program includes a Protecting God’s Children Awareness Session as well as a background check. In addition, employees complete a BCI and FBI check in accordance with our accreditation through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.
