During the month of May, the student body prays a decade of the rosary daily and participates in a May Crowning. While participating in remote learning for the remainder of the school year, the students were unable to carry out this tradition in the traditional format. However, Campus Minister Deacon Jerry planned a beautiful virtual ceremony to stream live on Facebook on May 14th. The Samocki family participated in the service with 6th grader Sophia presenting a reading and angelically singing Hail Mary: Gentle Woman, and 2nd grader Julia reverently placing a floral crown on Mary. Deacon Jerry shared a reflection and music teacher Michelle Zinck played the piano.

MTCES has 563 students in grades K-8 as of October 31, 2020. 
Based on the formal requirements set by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, all Mother Teresa employees as well as volunteers who have contact with children as part of their duties, are required to set up and maintain a VIRTUS account.  The VIRTUS program includes a Protecting God’s Children Awareness Session as well as a background check. In addition, employees complete a BCI and FBI check in accordance with our accreditation through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.
