After 30 years of teaching in the Northwest Local School District, Alison retired and then accepted a teaching position at MTCES. Most of her teaching experience has been at the middle school level in the area of language arts. At MTCES, Alison teaches 5th and 6th grade reading and 5th grade language arts.
